Mardhiah & Wafiq — Bersanding Wedding Photography with the Pelamin in Frame

A pelamin is not simply a background. It is a major part of the family's wedding investment and the setting in which the couple is formally presented. The photography therefore used wider compositions to preserve the floral work, stage design and venue atmosphere instead of reducing the scene to a tight couple portrait.

At the same time, the coverage remained attentive to the people within that setting, including the couple and family moments that make the bersanding ceremony meaningful. The lighting was allowed to retain the character of the venue rather than flattening the entire scene into a generic flash-lit look. The finished images keep the wedding recognisable as the family experienced it: the couple at the centre, the pelamin properly represented and the atmosphere of the celebration preserved around them.
